Here, in this craft tutorial, we are going to make a very beautiful and decorative craft basket and that too from plastic ball! Yes, plastic ball can be used to make such a DIY craft.

Things Needed to Make a Plastic Ball Basket

• A Plastic Ball
• Waste Cardboard
• Glitter Paper
• Jute Cloth
• Foam Sheet
• Scissors
• Fevibond Glue
• Marker
• Ruler
• Zip
• Glue Gun
• Decorative Laces
• Stone Lace

Procedure

Step 1 : Let’s take a plastic ball and draw markings on it.

Step 2 : Now cut it accordingly using a cutter to get three separate pieces.

Step 3 : Now take a cardboard and draw markings on it similar to the cut out ball pieces. Cut it.

Step 4 : Apply glue and stick it at the base of the middle portion of the cut out ball piece.

Step 5 : Further cut this piece and stick the other cardboard piece to it.

Step 6 : Now take a zip, apply glue on the lower half of the zip and stick it on one of the ball arrangement.

Step 7 : Similarly, stick the other ball arrangement to the other half of the zip to form a basket like design. It’s time to decorate the craft.

Step 8 : Take a glitter paper and draw markings on it and cut it accordingly to get two circular pieces.

Step 9 : Apply glue and stick it on the inner cardboard pieces.

Step 10 : Now take jute cloth and stick it on the outer surface of the cardboard. Cut out excess portion of the jute cloth.

Step 11 : Take a jute cloth strip and fix it on the inner surface of the already attached jute cloth. This will serve as the handle for the basket.

Step 12 : Apply glue and stick foam sheet on the bottom portion of the cardboard. Now take a decorative lace and stick it on the upper and lower portion of the basket.

Step 13 : Similarly, take another decorative lace and paste it on the center portion of the basket. Finally take a stone lace and stick it to beautify the basket.

Wow! Your beautiful plastic ball basket/organizer is now ready.
